Tell us about yourself - parent, entrepreneur, favorite hobbies, the things that keep you happy :)
I'm a mama to two wild and wonderful boys, built my creative agency Fearless Foundry from the ground up after leaving my career in fintech. I love cooking, gardening, drawing and dancing - and I'm slightly obsessed with my yorkie, Charlie.
What was the best or worst piece of advice you received during your pregnancy /while raising your children? And what would you love to pass on to other mamas/parents and soon to be?
The worst piece of advice I got as a parent was that sleep training was "mean". Believe me - I am a big advocate for mamas and parents doing whatever works best for them and their family, and I think we all need less people judging our choices. Sleep training my youngest was a game changer for my mental health, and I wished I would have done it sooner.
The insight I would love to pass on is to find other Mamas that get you. Make a point to be yourself as much as possible as a mom and you'll attract moms that get the real you, and will support and understand you on this journey.
What is your favorite mama/parent moment?
My favorite parenting moments right now are around anything to do with making things with my kiddos. This past week I've been coloring a lot with my four year old - and it's so fun to see the world through his eyes and to be a part of the innate creativity that kids have.
